About Global Forum on Bioethics in Research

     

Who are the Forum's partners?
The initial partners of the Forum are the Fogarty International Center and other institutes of the NIH (USA); WHO; MRC, UK; Centers for Disease Control (USA); MRC, South Africa; the Pan American Health Organisation; and the European Forum for Good Clinical Practice. The intention from the outset has been to encourage other institutions, especially from developing countries, to join as equal participants and partners.

What are the immediate outputs of the Forum?
A summary of each Forum's proceedings is prepared and disseminated. A Forum e-mail discussion group has been established following the Cape Town meeting. Formation of a secretariat and a website are under discussion.
