About Global Forum on Bioethics in Research

     

Who attends the Forum?
About 120 invited participants attend each Forum, with the emphasis on those from developing countries; this number has been chosen to allow maximum participation in discussions. Individual participation reflects the broad geographical setting of a particular Forum.

What are the immediate outputs of the Forum?
A summary of each Forum's proceedings is prepared and disseminated. A Forum e-mail discussion group has been established following the Cape Town meeting. Formation of a secretariat and a website are under discussion.
